L's Food Pantry Story

L signed up as a member of our food pantry in September 2021. Here's their story about how the food pantry has helped them.

"I have signed up as a member to L4G food pantry, as I was struggling financially and was struggling to afford to buy meals for 7 days a week for me and my family.

The food pantry is super as it's like going to the shop and selecting your food yet I only pay £1 and receive approximately £20 worth of shopping.

Without this I don’t know what I would have done, especially during non-term time when my kids eat me out of house and home.

The staff and volunteers who run the food pantry are very professional and always welcoming."
